It’s hard to tell what the smell actually is. There’s a whole fragrance industry (mostly located in NJ) that creates our nations’ smells. The basic idea is to combine a bottom note (something earthy and deep, like musk) with medium note (like straw) with a top note (like citrus).
To me Woolite smells like coming home to the Midwestern familly I never knew, with an apple pie, waiting for me, cooling on the windowsill.
Actually, I never used Woolite until a couple weeks ago when I was forced to gently wash a desintegrating t-shirt.
