This program involves a sturdy cardboard tube approximately 2 feet long and 6 inches in diameter. I rolled the sweater tightly stretched around this tube, then rolled it with the other side in the next day. I continued this program until I found that the torso section is now roughly long enough, if a little misshapen. The next phase is to stretch the arms so that they don't look painted on. The good news for me (which is also the bad news for you) is that the program of sweater stretching seems to be working.

Not the navy blue suit which I bought for my sister's wedding, but the charcoal grey suit, which I wore (and tore) in "The Block."

I like that you have a mysterious "program of sweater stretching."

Oh, no! Your new suit? Wait, isn't your new suit navy blue? What is this suit?

I had a clothing mishap this weekend that you'll appreciate: I take my laundry to be done at World Laundry, that place on Empire. They are good. I think you turned me on to them. They are fast and cheap. But I am a bit finicky about certain laundry items, since I am too big to afford any shrinkage in socks, for example. So, I have a special bag for those items (which I launder myself), and then a big bag for all the stuff I take to World Laundry. My brand new cashmere sweater unfortunately found its way into the World Laundry bag. It's now approximately your size. This may be good news for you, if my program of sweater stretching does not work.

You know, there are people, special weavers, who fix that sort of thing. I'm just saying.
