Time and again I have bought less expensive, nice-looking shoes only to find that they fall apart after one year. Good shoes last 20 years (need to always put cedar shoe trees in them though). I want to find the old AT&T of shoemakers. I am very unhappy with the fact that Kenneth Cole, Johnston & Murphy, and Aldo have all emulated the disposable phone market. I have bought shoes from these companies, and they have all fallen apart. I am thinking of cydwoq, but oh, how expensive!
