Mitch Magee is a writer/actor/director as well as a visual artist. In 2008, his work was honored as an official selection in the New York Television Festival. He was selected in 2007 as a finalist for the Andy Kaufman Award, sponsored by HBO. His work has been featured in several online and print publications including TimeOut New York, The Seattle Weekly, comedycentral.com and bestweekever.tv. He has been a performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre since November of 2000 and was a founding member of the improv group, Monkeydick. He has produced and directed a number of series for the web, including the much acclaimed "Sexual Intercourse: American Style" and "Mister Glasses." He teaches painting and drawing at the 92nd Street Y in New York City.
